Travelling to Mumbai

International patients

If you are coming to see Dr Adip Shetty, write before you book the flight. The clinic confirms a time at Apricity in Bandra. This page explains how that visit is arranged.

The street entrance to Apricity ENT Care on St Martin’s Road, Bandra.

How a visit is arranged

Three things to settle first.

A request tells the clinic why you are coming. It does not hold a place in the diary.

  1. 01

Write before you book the flight

Send the dates you expect to be in Mumbai, a phone number with its country code, and a short account of the problem: which side, how long it has been present, and what has already been tried. Name the month. The clinic confirms the day. Sending a request does not reserve a time.

  2. 02

    The examination is in person

The private room is Apricity in Bandra West. The visit is a conversation and an examination. A test is added when the result would change the plan. If an operation is discussed, it is a separate decision, and it usually needs more days in the city than one consultation.

  3. 03

Leave with a plan you can share

Ask for a summary of what was found, what to continue, and what needs a doctor near home or a return visit. After you leave Mumbai, an urgent problem should be seen locally. The clinic lines are for arranging care, not for an emergency abroad.

Practical notes

Clock

Mumbai uses India Standard Time, five and a half hours ahead of UTC, all year. Write the month in words, so 5 March and 3 May stay distinct.

Language

Hospital profiles list English, Hindi and Marathi. Ask when you call if you need one of those languages. A separate interpreter service is not published.

Records

Bring a medicine list, hearing-test printouts, imaging reports and any operation notes. An English copy helps when the original is in another language. The appointment form has no place for attachments. Ask the clinic which address should receive reports.

Fees

This website does not publish a consultation fee and does not take payment. The clinic names the fee when they contact you. A hospital visit is billed by that hospital.

Arrival

Most flights from abroad land at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Apricity is in Bandra West. Leave time for Mumbai traffic, and use the directions on the clinic page. A car from the airport is your own arrangement.

Children

A parent or guardian comes with the child. Include the child’s age when you write. Children’s ENT describes hearing, glue ear, infections, snoring and mouth breathing.

Where you will be seen

Apricity, in Bandra West.

Ground floor, next to Farooqui Clinic, St. Martin's Road, off Turner's Road, Bandra West, Mumbai, 400050

By appointment

9:00 am – 8:00 pm

The clinic confirms the day and the time. Visits are not walk-in.

Plan your visit Hospital times

Hospital desks keep their own booking. A request for a hospital is passed to that hospital. It is a hospital appointment, arranged on the hospital’s own desk.

Before you write

A few questions from abroad.

If you are already in Mumbai, call. A form sent the same day may not be seen in time.

Call +91 99302 48861
Can I speak with the doctor by video before I fly?

This website does not offer a video diagnosis. You can write or call so the clinic understands the problem and whether a visit in Mumbai is the right next step. The examination happens in person.

How soon should I write?

As soon as your dates are known. On the form, choose the day you hope to be seen and your country code. If your stay is a range of days, email those dates as well. A short trip may not leave time for a test, a scan, or a procedure.

Can an operation be planned around one visit?

Sometimes a procedure is discussed at the first consultation. It is not confirmed by sending the form. Recovery and follow-up take time. Say if an operation is the reason for the trip, and settle the number of days with the clinic before you buy a return ticket.

Will the clinic write to my doctor at home?

Ask during the visit. You can leave with a summary to share. The clinic does not automatically write to a doctor abroad.

What if something changes after I go home?

Email or call the clinic with the question. If the problem is urgent, see a doctor where you are. The appointment lines and WhatsApp are not watched as an emergency service.

Which number should I use from abroad?

Call or WhatsApp +91 99302 48861, or the second line +91 99307 78861. You can also email shettyadip@gmail.com. Put your own country code on the number you leave.
